ICHRRF welcomes Sanjaya Sarpong-Kumankumah as Director of Outreach for African Traditional Religions
The ICHRRF Executive Committee today welcomed Sanjaya Sarpong-Kumankumah as its newest member. He will be assisting the Executive team in its various outreach programs in Africa with traditional African religions and indigenous African spiritual traditions.
Sanjaya Sarpong-Kumankumah is a finance professional and social advocate with a strong commitment to human rights, cultural preservation, and religious freedom. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and is a certified Chartered Credit Professional.
With a decade of experience in finance, he now channels his passion toward cultural and Human Rights initiatives. He has participated in several conferences in Ghana and abroad focused on culture, women’s empowerment, and social justice. Passionate about Africa’s diverse heritage, especially Ghana’s rich traditions, he enjoys writing and researching that explore the intersections of culture, faith, and human rights.
Recently, he spoke on ICHRRF's Speaking Up Series, on the topic of Female Genital Mutilation in Ghana.
