August 25, 2022: ICHRRF to release historic Hearings Report on Kashmiri Hindu Genocide
In a major step towards facilitating reconciliation and restorative justice this upcoming Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 10AM US Eastern Time (7:30PM India Time), ICHRRF will release its Report based on the historic Special Hearings on Kashmiri Hindu Genocide that was held earlier on March 27 this year. The Report will be released by renowned professor of International Law, Prof. Ved P. Nanda (University of Denver), who has held numerous official posts in international, regional, and national professional and civil society organizations.
The occasion will feature Chief Guest, Mr. Vivek Agnihotri, director of the docudrama film 'The Kashmir Files', which not only broke the box office worldwide but also became the first media effort to honestly present the facts about Islamic terrorism and genocide of indigenous Kashmiri Hindus in the Kashmir Valley.
ICHRRF had conducted historic Special Hearings featuring survivors, journalists, community historians and academics who testified on the last round of genocide and ethnic cleansing of Hindus and other indigenous minorities in Kashmir at the hands of Islamist colonial state policy and terrorism in 1989-91. The killings continue to this day and these refugees have not yet been able to re-settle in their ancestral homeland.
This event releases the Report based on those Human Rights Hearings. This Report will subsequently be submitted to governmental and non-governmental agencies internationally. It documents the facts along with references and evidence that are currently being obfuscated or expunged from history and media in a coordinated effort at genocide-denial.
This is an open and free online event, but registration is required to attend.
